Mission:
Fishers of Men, a Christian sportsmen club, is a partnership of Christian Sportsmen, gathering together, growing in our faith, and evangelizing to our community through outdoor related sports, seminars, events and competitive teams.

Belief:
As followers of Christ, we believe we are all called to be “Fishers of Men”, to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as laid out in His Great Commission. Members of Fishers of Men believe that by sending out our competitive teams and spending time with men in our community, at seminars and events, God will reveal himself through them and place a call on the lives of the men we are in contact with.

Training:
Fishers of Men offers weekly Bible studies, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7pm, and discipleship opportunities throughout the week. Our training is designed to help men find their purpose, become the spiritual leaders God designed them to be, and equip them to deal with life’s challenges.

Camaraderie, Discipleship, Community, Competition

Fishers of Men is a gathering place for Christian men, and men who are interested in experiencing the “renewing of life” that comes through Jesus Christ. Fishers of Men works with the local church by decreasing the cost of maintaining a men’s ministry, increasing the quality of the men’s ministry they offer, and maintaining a network of gifted speakers, teachers, and service oriented men who keep the ministry running. Fishers of Men becomes a part of the body of each sponsoring church, and functions in that body by strengthening men through the study and application of the Word of God.

Camaraderie
Fishers of Men meets in their clubhouse, an environment created by Christian men to be comfortable, interesting, and relevant to men.  This clubhouse is a place where men can look inside and see what true camaraderie is.

Discipleship
Fishers of Men uses gifted Christian men from local churches to teach weekly Bible studies to groups of men at their clubhouse.  By uniting these Christian leaders, and the men that follow them, Fishers of Men has created an exciting and dynamic ministry for men, dedicated to increasing faith through the study of His Word.

Community

Competition
Men love to compete, and they love to win.  So, Fishers of Men uses men’s desire for competition as a way to fish for men.  Fishers of Men creates opportunities for men to learn how to become better in the areas they compete and recreate.  Through our seminars and competitive teams, we make our men better Christian competitors.
